GE Electrotech was established in the year 2010 however, we were in the present activities since 1990. The Company aimed to look fo rward to technical challenges, rather than make run of the mill standard products available. This focus was never lost to the company; as a result it could develop and manufacture quite a few products which were being made for the first time in the country.

GE Electrotech manufacture customized Chargers, FCBC’s, Dischargers (for Batteries) ,Power Systems & Solar/Wind based power systems. We have developed unique solar based cooling solutions also. Our products meet the challenge of providing pure, dependable electric power conversion/management to industry, government, the public and private sector, from the clean environment of data center to the harsh conditions of an offshore oil platform. We have also given indigenous solutions with products like LED based lamps and Ice flake generator machine working on solar power on Boats etc, for fishery industry

Test & Measuring Equipments for lighting industry, special purpose circuits for lighting companies like Wipro, Bajaj etc, development of electronic ballast for OEM’S, process control, and communication industries.We have also indigenously developed for B.A.R.C. special purpose Test Probes for nuclear reactors which were successfully used.

DEVELOPMENTS in Solar sector

The Company has always thrived to give practical and feaseablesolution for operational hurdelsusing envoirmentalfriendly tools.

To this extent below are some case studies , studied at ground level and developed viable solutions

A) Ice slurymachine at -10oC :-The small time fishermen at village Bondnihad issues of travelling long distance to procure Ice cubes of aprox10/15 tons per trip, and carrying this excess load in their boat for duration (10days) of fishing. We could provide a solution by developing a boat mounted Ice slurry making machine working on 24V DC synchronised to power generated from existing alternator and additional Solar panels with In-house converter & controller.

B) Solar Converter for using existing Higher Voltage Solar System to drive break less power for PLC level controllers :-This was a unique solution given to end user through PavanPower Solution,. Basically we could give a simple solution by combining solar power and DC UPS to give uninterrupted power for water controllers and internet based communication for over 1000 no.s sites implemented by Govt. across rural Rajashthan.

C) Solar Based power for Highly Remote area , for Ignition:-This system was developed for Oil India through SparkletP Ltd. For their Flame Ignition system. This was required as it was a Oil field in Assam ‘s remote area . A rugged and very dependable solution was required , which we could deliver.

D) Non Destructive testing tools :-We have developed differential Probes for capturing micron level deformities in difficult to reach areas, used in NDT for BARC, with full support from their end. This probe was used in highly radioactive reactor namely ‘Cyrus” to test their fuel rod tubes. ‘BARC’ had shown confidence due to our capabilities in developing and understanding of critical coils and Inductance.

E) Li Ion battery , the future power horse:-We are closely connected with certain specialised type of Li Ion Battery Management system ‘s. We have developed solution through Rocket Battriesa Global Power Ltd. Company in Battery manufacturing in India. We have given various solution such as a power converter which is used to connect new Li battery to existing alternator system of two wheelers. Also high end BMS, licenced from ElithionUSA, have been component sourced and manufactured, at our end.

F) Uninterrupted power solution in a compact space:-We could give a solution for compact panel used in Toll booths were space was at a premium. We developed a solution by combination of using high frequency Inverter with Li battries and requisite circuitry (designed by us) for such a combination. This was at behest of ‘Effcons’ an pan India infrastructure company.

G) Various circuits were devoloped in non Power areas as giving solution of ‘customer Feed Back capture’ to AdityaBirla Fashion & Retail Ltd. This was a direct substitue for their solution through expensive I Phone’s

Considering providing full solution to our valued clients, we have developed and manufactured products whichever are necessary for system Integration, and have successfully completed projects in Rural areas. D) Centralised Solar System for street lamps–We have worked out such a solution at Vil. SalavTal Murud, so as to provide power for street lamps, Gram PancyatLights, School, and Temple. All situated in a single locality. This will make cleaning/maitainanceof panels simpler and in turn providing better utilization. We have earlier installed Central Solar system with battery back-up.
